I fished yesterday and fished real hard to catch a keeper.I was in my tube fishing marina area, hit every brush pile and other structure that I have been catching fish on and struggled to catch 11 from 9-11 inches long.My opinion on the spawn is that it is about over.I have been catching good limits since the week before Easter in this area.You can still catch a lot of small crappie from the bank in this area but if I didnt have a boat I would go to Little Axe boat ramp and fish off the new covered fishing dock.Also Lake has come up about 2-3 Ft. since the rain.West end is real muddy,east end is pretty clear for t-bird for now.I am sure it will muddy up before its all over.
