Lol !!!! I doubt I have that kind of impact or knowledge on the other anglers who frequent thunderbird , but thanks for the encouragement , I'm gonna try to go out this Sunday and pick a few spots and see what going on haven't been out in a long while so will post a report Sunday if I make it out there
T-Bird was on fire this morning. Was there from 6:45 to 9:45 and caught 27. Didn't start saving them until the 8th fish because I didn't think I would catch one about every 3 minutes and didn't want to bother skinning a just few. Even saw people at the Little Axe dock with several on their stringers. Was dipping as well as casting & dragging trees and brush. Was using my 4.5" Pro Angler Tackle dock shooter. Love that rod. Was using a 1/16th oz jig with a custom plastic I made last night and they were on it. Took home 13.

I know everyone has excuses but I have sickly children this weekend so that was my reason for not having more than 13 on a picture to show lol good job nip seriously that's awesome !! I wish I could have gotten the chance to go I work in the oilfield so time is pretty limited anyways but I'm almost positive I will be out next weekend !! Good fishing to all keep up the good work sorry I couldn't join the fun this weekend
I hear ya on the sickness. My 2 and 4 year old as well as I were sick the week before. I went to the doctor and they referred me to the ER due to my tonsils being swollen and cutting off my airway and impairing my speech. They got the swelling to go down. That week was a complete nightmare I tell ya. Only reason I was able to get away from work and family was my mother-in-law is in town staying at my house and helping out. Better believe I snuck out the back door when everyone was a sleep this morning. Would have stayed out longer but had to get back to get ready for my B-Day party. Sure was tough leaving the lake when it was producing like that. Going to try to hit it again this next weekend. :)
