Yeah, I am hoping the hot weather this week will kick them in gear. I'm going to take off on friday and go. Going to try and get them before the weekend rush!

I was planning on going out tomorrow morning since I finished all my finals today. Should I just wait until the weekend or?

I end up catching a 6 males in about 3-5 ft of water yesterday afternoon. All in the 9-10 inch range and darkend up. Let em all go as well. Caught few sandies as well. All in all an okay afternoon besides the recreational crowd. Think I may try to head out for an evening or two this week. Not so sure on going out on the weekends for awhile just too hectic out there.

I made the mistake of going out yesterday also. Did manage to catch a few with the majority being in 14 FOW around but not up close to standing timber. I did tow in one of the recreational boat! I've got to remember to throw my tow rope back in the boat! Rachel, I would go anytime I can. You never know, I've gone thinking its going to be great and its not and other times I go thinking nothing says it should be good and you catch em like crazy! I do know that you wont catch em from the house unless its a houseboat!

It was miserable yesterday. I learned three things. I despise obnoxious boaters, it's not worth driving to the opposite of the lake, and I much prefer evening/night fishing to 4pm on a weekend.

Well taking the kids to Tulsa in the morning which means I'll have some free time. Was thinking about trying the bird again tomorrow night but this time by boat if anyone has boat seat they would like to share. Looks to be a little windy but my hopes are it dies down in the evening. I get off at 5 and plan on attacking it around 6:30ish. I have cash for gas/minnows if needed.

Yesterday, I caught some shad by kvd crank 1.5... too much shad along the rock of the dam. Where is other fish?
