The weather is looking GREAT for Friday...High of 80, with light wind. I am going to skip work and get out there again. Can't pass up a day with wind less than 10 mph! Hopefully I'll have better luck tis time. Anyone else going Friday morning?

I may skip work also I'm off on the weekends but its always windy and I hate trying to crappie fish in the wind. does anyone have any good places out there?

Ha! I seeeeeeriously doubt that! I'm in Yukon, so it really depends on what time I get my butt out of bed and leave the house. Takes a while to drive there. Will probably try to get there around 0800-ish.
As I expected, they have bumped the forecast from less than 10 mph winds up to 10-15 mph winds. Still going, but darn it, I wanted a calm day!
Although, I guess around here anything less than 20 mph IS a calm day...rotfl

My third cast gota 18 inch LM bass. Then my reel was broken... I took half an hour to find my handle screw cap and handle lock, But noting...
Thanks for the tip Dr. Nip; I was able to get some minnows at the Shell station. Caught a few little dinks this morning, and interestingly enough, I got 2 large mouth bass in the brush. A nice couple I was sharing the dock with had a basketful by the time I left. They were also using minnows. A pair of gentlemen were dead sticking among the trees with decent success. I might go back out again this afternoon, but I heard that the dog park has been stocked with trout, so I might go do that instead.
