Im tellin yall you cover ten times more water trollin than you would PITCHIN A JIG. Two man team thats 8 to 10 baits in the water on four poles. FYI i could put a jig through a washer. A big washer that is. My father landed a 3lb 8oz crappie jiggin stumps. Granite that was on grenada but i still believe trollin is the most productive way. Gotta have sonar.

I can see the forest. It's in the creeks sticking out of the water all over the place. Plenty of targets to pitch at. I keep moving almost all the time, so I cover plenty of water. And I think that's a little high as far as the winning percentage for trollers. Tbone, Yates, and Starvin Fishermen have won their share in the last couple years, and they don't troll.Not that I've ever seen anyway. Throw in a few more non trollers that I know have won a few themselves and that percentage drops even more. Maybe if you boys bring your trolling out to the tourneys this year, you can show us we are all wrong.

Troll all you want at eastfork it does not produce the big fish needed for the tournys. But Iam working on a trolling idea that may work but it has yet to be proven on eastfork until it is we will fish with a jigging rod in hand
