Thread: Whisker fish abound - Burr Oak

My bride and I went to Burr Oak Lake in Athens County again. After a hot week the water temp was 80-81 degrees all over the lake and boat traffic was minimal at best. We pulled Pico Crankbaits all day and color didn’t really matter. We managed 6 catfish, Five 8-9 inch Crappie and a 2 respectable Largemouth Bass. All fish were caught at 11 to 12 feet in 19 feet of water and we released all of the fish. Until next time be safe, wear sunscreen and your PFD.
