Made it out to a Local Lake today, and I feel like I'm starting to develop a relationship with. Sometimes I love it, and other times I swear there isn't a fish in it! Stared today about 11:30 this morning and fished till about 4:00 this afternoon. Had to deal with the eyelets freezing up for the first couple hours. Today I couldn't find the desired crappies I was looking for. I did however find some nice gills and redears. Brought home a few for me and the little woman to enjoy when we are kid free for a night. All fish caught today where taken on a black 1/16 oz jig head with a black and white gulp minnow about 12 - 18" under a bobber.
