Thread: Ice out crappie 2-23-18

Did some wading at a NE Ohio lake today and it turned out pretty dang good! Caught around 50 crappie between 7-11”” fishing a 1/64th jig and 1” Black Shad gulp under a float 18””- 3ft deep. Fish were caught in 4-6fow in and around the weeds. Didn’t plan on keeping any so all were released. Orange and black were the top producing jig colors. It was great to get out and do some casting & catch some fish.
