Thread: Paint Creek report

Took a trip earlier this week up to Paint. PC used to be my favorite lake to fish but life just got busy and I wouldn't take the time to make the trip out there.

I was surprised by the number of black crappie vs white crappie that we caught, probably 95% black. As you can see in the pic they are really showing their colors.
We caught a bunch of fish but most were small but we did have enough good fish for a few meals if we had wanted them. As usual my friend and I are too lazy to clean them so they all went back. I'm glad I finally took the time and made the trip. I will do it again before summer is over.

My dad used to take me there crappie fishing when I was a young teenager, oh about 48 yrs ago...lol! We always caught black crappie
