Must be on the water as no reports have been posted lately. Fished a river trib in the Meldahl pool yesterday and had a pretty good day. Ended up cleaning 11 last night. All keeper crappie came out of deep water. Couldn't catch a keeper fishing less than 6 ft. Caught lots of dink crappie, bass bluegill & channel cats fishing slip bobber/minnow rig. Great Fall day to be on the water. Trees are at their peak.

Those are nice fish. I fished a creek in the Markland Pool last Friday and fished all day (but shouldn't have). We caught some decent crappie and hybrid before noon, did no good from 1-5 basically, then caught a ton of white crappie in the last hour before dark. Most of mine came shallower. There were some good ones, pushing 12".

I still want to spend a 1/2 day at EF this fall, trolling with minnows - mainly just to see if I should plan on fishing there next year. Haven't made it there yet. I'm 55 minutes away from EF, 15 minutes from the river.

I'm here, I've been out hunting the last few weeks. It seems every time I get a little time off and want to go to the lake something comes up and fills that time. This is usually a busy time of the year for me. I'm planning on trying to get out Friday.
Those are a couple of nice crappies.

You are about the same distances as me. I'm a little over a hour from East Fork & I live along the river. Hard for me to leave this river/area even when they aren't biting. Always something to fish for on the Ohio.
