we had 5.34 for 7 fish all 11 inch plus healthy blacks..all over open water slow trolling double hook rigs with minnies and big shiners.second place was 4.56 with big fish .91.caught over 200 crappie 2 stripers and 20 catfish and one 35 pound buffalo carp..huge..bite was better later in the day.weird

It sounds like you guys had a great day and the tourney overall was pretty good. All 11" fish is pretty good for EF so I guess the 9" limit is helping. One thing I always wonder is where are the 13 & 14" fish??? I was at Cowan on Sunday, it was a slow bite but we had 1 @ 14" & 1 @ 14 1/4".
I haven't been out much the last few weeks, maybe this weekend I'll get a chance to go.
