Prayer sent
May the Lords will be done.
I'll be the first to admit that I regularly fall short in the eyes of the Lord, but I do believe that He will guide you through this if you let Him into your heart. I know it's so hard and I've asked the question why so many times myself. Be strong for your children and your wife and give yourself over to God when you feel like you can't take anymore. I can't say I know exactly how you feel, but I've walked a rocky path myself and I've experienced the frustration of watching loved ones suffer. Please know and believe this, prayer really is powerful, and we will lift you and yours up in prayer.
For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Jerimiah 29:11
Lord we live in a broken and sin filled world. We forget that because of this bad things happen to good people, it's been this way a long time. If those of us who follow Jesus and trust in Your promise continue to call on Your name in prayer, we will see blessings. I ask for Your grace and mercy during this tough time, but also I ask for Your Spirit to convict Kissfan of this truth and show him how his faith in you will help his family through this trial. Your vision and wisdom far exceed ours and because of this Your plans are not usually our plans. Whatever the outcome, I pray Kissfan will give you his trust and the glory. Amen.

Update: So my wife has seen a few of the oncologists at University Hospital, first the dermatologist/oncologist did a full body search to try and find the skin cancer, they removed and biopsied 4 areas on her back, and one of them was the skin cancer. He determined that it is not stage 4, thank goodness, but stage 3. Still not good, but better, he said it is common for stage 3 to go to nearby lymph nodes. He referred her to the oncologist that deals with the lymphatic system, and that doctor told her it is only affecting a few lymph nodes, and that treatment will consist of surgery to remove them, and targeted radiation. He scheduled a appointment for tomorrow involving himself and the digestive tract oncologist, he said that will require surgery as well and they will conduct the surgery at the same time. Still a long road ahead, but it may not be a grim as it originally seemed.
Thanks for the update. Hang tough, prayers are still coming!!
Yep, prayers on the way.
thanks for the update. Prayers continue
Another update: so I haven't been on hear in a while so I thought I post an update. My wife has been receiving immunotherapy as well as chemotherapy. About a week ago she had a PET scan and it showed that the tumors has shrunk more than the doctor had even hoped which was great news. Then she started having neurological problems, found out she was mini strokes, went to the neurologist and he did a MRI, results were that she had a stroke and he saw some things that he wanted the oncologist to check out. Back to another PET scan, results show that she now has a tumor in the frontal lobe of her brain. After the tumors shrunk her prognosis went to roughly 3 years, not great by any means, but better than the roughly 6 months she has right now. I know I am supposed to stay positive but it is extremely difficult. Especially when she sits here and talks about everything she is going to miss in our girls lives. I don't know what to say, I wish it was me in her place.
My thoughts are with you and they have been since you 1st posted this.
Cancer is a horrible disease. It is tough but hang in there for her. I do wish you guys well.
