Thread: Making the best of it Fishing report

Headed north to Delaware Lake early on Friday morning. What we found, was a MUDD Hole and the fish having lock jaw. We caught a few, but nothing like we had expected. We could of ground it out by heading further up creek, but it was all muddy. Thought about jumping lakes to Alum Creek but figured it would be muddy as well.
Decided to try C.J. Brown for the first time, on the way back home. It was good to see green water. First cast landed one in the Lucky Bucket. We had to sort through a lot of 2017 keepers to get enough to dirty the filet knife. We fished right up until the straight line wind blew us off the lake. Ended up with 18 in the Lucky Bucket.
Caught them on home grown hair jigs and minnows. Turned out to be the best move for us.
