Thread: Regatta @ EF

I saw a sign posted by the dam ramp. Ramp will be closed midnight 5/15 through 5/18.
I think the whole lower end of the lake is closed during the regattas.

I'm not sure that it's closed during the regatta, but I'm almost 100% positive that that whole side of the lake is "No Wake" during the regatta. I got pulled over a couple years ago for it. I put in at the Tate ramp, and proceeded to take off on that side of the lake. Water patrol pulled me over and proceeded to yell at me through a bullhorn saying "Captain, there is no wake on this side of the lake!!!" To my defense, there was no signage posted at the ramp informing me of such, and I told that to the officers, and their reply was "You should have known" I laughed and said "ok buddy....." and turned around and fished the other side of the lake.
