    What is the fishing in the spillway like during fall release?

    I've often wondered how the pool just up from the footbridge is. Looks like it could hold some fish.

    I've tried the spillway during a court of days during the summer month, but caught only small crappie and perch. There was also an 'aroma' that was less than pleasing to the olfactory,

    Commonly called "The Stink Hole" for obvious reasons, it none the less has a reputation for producing quite a few LARGE fish, especially in spring. The N side swirl from the out flow by the 1st cement seam about where the guard rail levels and the inside of each lower corner are high percentage spots. And use BIG baits...

    Anyone know if the current drawdown flow is normal? It didn't seem very strong last Sunday.

    With no rain and a slow draw down, they are already over half way there....this is good for keeping fish in the lake!

    Well, with my luck at catching "homers" being what it is, the fish still in the lake must be getting bigger...
