Any fishing trips planned for 2015 yet?????

Starting to make some loose plans for next years fishing trips...... Def wanna head south in late feb or early mar to crappie fish , not convinced where yet...... Looking into a catfishing trip to wheeler..... And the usual multiple trips to Erie ....... Any one heading south to crappie fish and if so where ???? ...... We've done Weiss past two years and maybe again in 2015.....have kicked around chickamunga, Ky lake, or one of the Mississippi big four......any suggestions????

No plans on crappie trips yet. But I am going to Wheeler next week 17-22 and am going out with Guide Jason Bridges on the 21st. I'll give you a report on Wheeler when I get back. Been to Reelfoot, Sardis, and Grenada. I will be going back to Grenada and Sardis again. I stayed at the cabins on Grenada overlooking the lake. They're great and can pull your boat on bank and walk up to some of them. 75.00 bucks a night. Pretty good price when split between 4 people.

Definitely going to Ky Lake in mid April with the guys . May go back again with my wife later in the year.
I'm very interested in an Erie trip for crappie also.
I was going to try to get some details from you as time got closer...

I think EFslabs and I started talking about Ky Lake 2015 almost as soon as we got home last year.

2 trips planned for 2015: first in April to Kentucky Lake. Moore's Resort, Blood River area. 2nd in May to Reelfoot Lake for bluegill. Some of the largest gills I have ever caught, non hybrid. Sportsman's Resort, North Blue Basin is where we stay. Other potential trip is to St John's River in Florida (visiting my Sister). She has a houseboat on the river. Great crappie, cat, and gill fishing.

Will be on Lake Washington in February and on Grenada the rest of the spring except for tourney weekends on Sardis, its tuff but someone has to do it.

I did make it to Erie last year for what was supposed to be a long weekend. It was a longer story than this but the guy I went with wanted to leave after the 1st day. I did a trip with him a few years back to Weiss and he wanted to leave on that trip too. I drove on the Weiss trip so he had to stay. He drove his truck to Erie so I had to leave. Never again, it was like fishing with a woman with PMS on a fishing trip. (Cry baby)
I noticed he left one of his tackle boxes sitting in my boat when he dropped me off on his way home. I don't want to keep his stuff but I'm not giving it back to him either. I think I'm going to find some kid just starting out and give him a tackle box full of goodies.
I should have kept my promise and never went on a trip with him again. Some guys just can't get away from momma....
