Fished deep water yesterday with Guppy from 6:30 til dark, and we got a lot of big bites but nothing to show for it...they hit hard but just got the tails and then didn't come back.
Went back out tonight and fished skinny water...not a bite...hit the Marina thinking no one would be out....MISTAKE! Hundreds of people out, Marina was packed....yelling, screaming, and NO ENGLASE!
Caught 5 dinks, dinks were all I seen being caught and kept...Warden came through and actually got out and started writing tickets! Mr. NO ENGLASE, got a ticket for illegal fish....guess he should have put them back when I told him!LOL People were trying to leave and Mr Ranger told to Stay put...I imagine a lot of people got tickets tonight...I was very pleased !
I'm done at the Marina again until after summer....I just can't enjoy myself and relax around THE FINEST!
The water is about a foot below summer pool and is starting to settle in the coves...temps should hit 60 easily this week!

Looks like I'll be doing A lot of 1 eyed fishing again this year!....My cancer is back....I go for an MIR this week and then they'll know whether I get to start the entire process over again! That sucks, but it's better than the alternative!
Please everyone, if you have any questionable spots or growths on you, go get them checked, waiting around is dangerous and if things are caught early are easily treated....I hope someone learns from my ignorance!
It was all I could do to "Gut Out" that last round...I didn't take any pain meds after any of the 5 surgeries, probably because I didn't know what to expect and I still had to be able to function and take care of Dale....I'm questioning whether I can "Gut Out" another round of the same...I'm dreading this! Hopefully I can find the Strength to keep my Man Card again! Oh well, life goes on....and the time to fish is upon us!
