I have taken research and learning to a whole new level.....I can go out with buddies who fish like me, and I find a color or pattern and soon we are killin' fish, then I will start to experiment. They look at me like I am crazy because the fishing is so good on what I found earlier. I do this because I know they are Great fishermen and they will catch fish...if I am not catching fish I know that my experiment is not working at this time and pattern....If they are catching fish and I am also, I know my experiment is successful and I added another piece to the puzzle and also added to my arsenal! So they are helping me to become better and then I later help them!

Meeting all of these guys in the CJ Wolf Pack during the last 8 years, has allowed an even faster learning curve for me...I have learned something from each and every one...the knowledge, experience, and ability of the group is amazing. I can bounce ideas off them, share thoughts, and pick their brains...this has provided a constant flow of information that has shortened the learning curve! I listen to everyone, each of us do things differently, or fish in different ways.
People don't think I listen to them, but I do intently....I fished with Jeff (JAB) last week for the first time, I listened to his views, how he does things....ask him, he would probably tell you that he would doubt I could learn anything from him...but I have, just like all the others that I have fished with!
You then take bits and pieces from all these different people and develop a system that fits you...you do the same with all their experiences also...then you add all of your research and knowledge and you are on a VERY GOOD PATH!
I have gained more insight in the last 8 years then in my previous 46....I thought that when I was younger and Fishing Big Tourneys in the South that I KNEW IT ALL...actually, I didn't know squat compared to the knowledge I have been able to gain SINCE I HAVE STARTED LISTENING!
Another Great thing with an Old but fresh Mind, is if you learn something that you enjoy it is almost like having a photographic memory...You can access that info at any time and continue to add and sort it as needed!

I am actually enjoying fishing more than ever, because I can think about the entire process...the species, the patterns, effects from different sources, the entire Natural Interaction!
The Bad Part is that I think I have only scratched the surface....and as much fun as I'm having, I think it will only get better!
I have been blessed to have been helped by many people, and that experience will benefit ANYONE who wants to learn from me...I won't give you fish, but I'll help anyone who wants to learn and ask questions that will help their fishing!
