Actually, yesterday USAToday and MSN news did big features on this Phenomenon....Millions are selling off their stuff or giving it away, quitting good jobs, and moving out to isolated areas to survive by their own wits and live Free!
Don't get me wrong, I believe everyone should have basic survival skills, etc, and I love being outside, but until the day comes that I have to do without the modern conveniences, I'm gonna enjoy life in heat and air conditioning, with a cold refrigerated beverage, and a hot/well cooked meal...then I'm gonna sit down and watch some idiot on TV starve to death and be cold out in the woods, and then listen to him tell me he's happier than I am...then as I leave to go to lay down on my memory foam adjustable mattress, I'll think of him laying out in the freezing cold on a bed of limbs and pine needles, shivering, while being dirty and stinky, and worrying about becoming a meal for a bear or wolves...now that's what I call entertainment!
I will be pissed though, if one day I go out to CJ and there are a thousand stinky REWILDERS living out there by my favorite fishing holes....but I figure by the time this all takes place, they will have all decided that living in the Wild isn't for them, so they'll just join the other Millions that the rest of us have to support!lol

Now there's a reason to not hate the geese so much. I doubt even rewilders want to coexist with geese droppings.
