CJ WATER TEMPS AND FISHING THREAD!

as far as the the DARK SIDE I'm not sure for the simple fact I don't know what that actually means.I can tell You I have fished since the age of 5 and am now 45.I have nothing but the upmost respect for any fishery because I have seen the consequenses of poor management,overharvesting and just flat out dumb abuse of great places.I love the game,I have 2 young children now(6&2) which are getting in to it also and strive to do nothing but have them enjoy the sport and learning of it and respect our natural resources.Fishing is a God given gift and if you can't respect that fact and show respect for what you are given you should find a different way to spend your time.as far as cj,I still love the place,appreciate all of your guys work and will do nothing but try to help.I fish to catch fish,and yes at times I keep fish,but overall I know what is right and wrong and will do whatever I can to help or maintain what we have.Looking forward to meeting some of you guys and fishing this winter anyhow.I do enjoy ice fishing and hoping to get on the main lake again this year.Greatly appreciate all of your efforts towards the growth of the lake.and yes,i enjoy fishing for all species.

If you have any questions about Mother CJ, there's alot of Elderly Knowledge on here....several of us watched her being built....Some I think, havebeen around since CREATION!

We jokingly and lovingly refer to Kitty Kat Lovers (Catfish only guys) As the "Dark Siders"! Seems that they love to Catch Cats, but won't eat them....I've been trying unsuccessfully to get them to start taking home and eating some of those delicious 1-2 pound Channels to thin the population....this way the Channels will get bigger and I'll stop catching the darn things!!! lol

Like yourself, I am also an older Father....My son was born when I was close to 41...he is 13 now, and THANK GOD, SINCE I AM OLDER, I HAVE THE PATIENCE TO DEAL WITH HIM ...don't panic if they stop fishing for awhile when they are older, their world is hectic and faster paced than ours!
My son had a goal to catch his first Gator this year...in the Spring he caught 2, and then hardly fished again the rest of the year...he was satisfied!lol
Now it's All Football/Sports, cars, and girls....the nut didn't fall far from the tree!lol
