CJ WATER TEMPS AND FISHING THREAD!

Well, I have the entire weekend free to fish....but with this Antarctic weather coming in, I'm thinking a nice warm fireplace my be the ticket!
Guess I cold get my LongJohns out of storage!
Last weekend was perfect but Dale didn't want to fish...too much football to watch and be played.
I have my eye surgery Wednesday October 8th, and then I'll be off again for a couple weeks, hopefully I can fill that spare time at the lake!

Buddy, I don't have alot of insulation....it takes me awhile to regulate my body temp...once I get use to 40's, I'm good until it stays below freezing....THEN I TURN IN MY MANCARD!

I've never been ice fishing, but I have had my top eyelet freeze up and my Minnow net freeze to my bucket. As long as the fish are biting, I don't care!

Hey Intimidator I finally got on here. CrappieDreamer I have been trying to get Brent out for years, he will come out and talk to me for a few minutes and then he's gone. As soon as it gets 3" of ice I am on the ice till the end.

When do you normally ice fish? Night/day, weekday/weekends?

I normally the daylight hours any day I can get out, Saturdays if I am working or any day that I am not working.

There's going to be NO ICE this year...and it's going to stay in the 40's....no need for me to turn in my Mancard this year!
