Cjpolecat just wait until you see those flappers in person. I went to Brent's last night and these things are sick. Cannot wait for the 4.5 to be out.
Side note who turns the pens. I use to do it a while back. Not into it any more and have tons of wood and casted blanks I need to get rid of. Kits also.

I'm going to hook up my test tank later today and use the gopro to shoot some video on the new Keitechs I got. Will post the videos for everyone to see

Now I know what I act like when I get some new Keitechs....Jesse was like a kid at Christmas.
All I can say, is if you Bass Fish Tourney's with Jesse, good luck, 'cause you're gonna need it...he is knowledgeable about the fish, lakes, patterns, etc....he understands patterns and processes...he experiments....learns from them....and now he has Real weapons....Good Luck Brother, I think you're headed to the next level.

I ran across these links about lure colors on OGF in the "Bass Discussions" section. There are never a lot of posts in this section but I thought these were real gems. They are short and easy to understand and I would recommend anyone with any confusion about lure colors (like me) to read them. One of the most practical suggestions I've ever read, and I don't know why I never thought of it, is to drop your lure in shallow water just deep enough so you can still see it. Does the color stand out? I'd be interested in any and all comments and opinions of the content of these articles. Also what color do you consider CJ to be?
BTW Brent...any word at all about what is on that Feb 14th Keitech shipment?

ME AND THE MRS WEN TO CJ TONIGT,NOT ENOGHT SOFT WAER TO TALK ABOUT ANY WAY THE SUBMRINE RACES WERE CANCLED ACC OUNT OF ICE..
The 4.4" Flappers will be in...I'm hoping the 2.8's won't be far behind!
CJ is fertile and algae stained...Red goes first...IMHO, the rules stated are good, but, you have to use those rules as a starting point...sometimes you can throw out rules of color when they are keying in on something, because Fluorescent colors have a place in bright light and dim, then you also have phosphorescence, and UV which effects colors....you can overwhelm yourself with color, just like techniques, lures, etc....Jesse and I talked about this the other night.
I follow the bright/bright, dark/dark rule and experiment from there...it never fails that on a dark day they want Electric Chicken.
Remember, all baitfish have a Gold tint...Chartreuse at CJ mutes to a gold...you can see that by dropping your bait into shallow water!![]()
