BTW, did you mention " ORANGE wood" Sir Intimidator ? COUNT ME IN ! (I love when a conspiracy comes together...uh, are we going "official" or the `0 dark :30` route this time? )

It's every man for himself...."0 dark 30".....giving out GPS locations does not help the lake, and wastes our time, money, and hard work.

I do not understand the reasoning behind giving out Locations....First of all, the State ODNR is "Broke" and "does not have the manpower or money to take care of the Lakes, reservoirs, rivers, etc.
So groups of fishermen come together to help the ODNR out and help their local lakes, by donating materials, time, money, and hard work to improve the fishery for all.
It is known that if you improve the fishery with cover, food, breeding habitat, fry nursery's, etc., for the lowest form of the food chain, to the top predator, that you improve the fish holding capability and the overall health of the lake. With this, the overall population increases, and fish move out and fill in areas, with new larger cover, that didn't hold fish before.
It's not even debatable if this works or not, the results speak for themselves.
Look at the amount of money, gas, vehicle wear and tear, time, hard work and sore muscles, etc., that we all have given since this all began.....we all saw what a waste it was when GPS locations were given out the 1 year....we all saw the horror stories that came true.
So now, the State wants us to give everything we do FOR THE LAKE, to other fishermen who CHOOSE NOT TO HELP IN ANY WAY, but want to sit on the cover 24/7 and poach every fish off the cover possible again!
Why in the heck, would any person think this is OK and should be done???
Why do I want to make it easy for anyone to catch fish in my home lake, when they don't want to bother to learn about it, help make it better, or care what happens to it....these people do not even know how to conserve the cover....they just continue to fish it until the cover is destroyed or ALL THE FISH ARE GONE!
I would be ashamed to ask for locations at a lake that I fish, so I could catch fish...Everyone has a busy life, other things that have to be done, and we all can come up with excuses....but all of us here have not sat on our butts and cried about how unfair life is "because a group of fishermen dumped cover and isn't telling anyone where it is"!
I believe in the saying about "Giving someone a fish, and teaching someone to fish"! I do not believe in welfare, if you are capable of doing SOMETHING!
If the State wants to give out locations to poachers, then they need to spend some of our tax dollars and put some in....I hate to continue to "beat a dead horse" but they can come out and write tickets for boat violations, creel size and limit violations, no license violations, littering, unlawful drug and sexual deviant behavior, etc.!
But to tell a group of fishermen that are trying to do the right thing and help their lake, that they have to provide fishing areas for lazy ass fishermen to sit and catch fish all day is just idiotic, and they can "Bite Me"!

By "official" meant using your considerable "powers of persuasion" to bring the Walleye Queen back around...using the exact same points you yourself posted; ie, is it better to just allow us to do this at NO COST to the State (and ultimately the Ohio taxpayers) and LONG TERM benefit everyone whom fishes CJ or not get anything done which benefits whom ? And for what it`s worth, more than a couple of the persons hounding Debbie are local bait shops who have never done a single thing to help us in 8 yrs BUT whom feel we `OWE` them something in return for nothing ! (btw, except for asking Doc for the GPS location of "CC" #2 have deliberately made it a point not to have a single GPS location in my possession...cover ? WHAT cover ?)

It's taken me a while but I finally made it over here from OGF. Just about the time things went south with OGF I was diagnosed with a staph infection and spent 8 weeks in the hospital. I missed the entire fall fishing season. Oh well that's old news now. Glad to see all the familiar names but wish I didn't have to learn the ones that changed all over again and very glad to see the CJ thread is alive and well. By the way I had to change my username from Shaggy to Shaggi.

I Received Emails from Park Management also, stating we need to give cover drop locations...if not, there will be no more drops....they feel that THE COVER SHOULD BE GIVEN OUT TO ANYONE, SO PEOPLE CAN CATCH FISH....they didn't care what problems happened before....I told them if that was the case, they need to put us on the payroll and pay all of us to do it, cause I'm not wasting my time again! IDIOTS!!!!!
It's pretty darn bad when ODNR people have no common sense also....AND THEY WILL NOT LISTEN!

We're always glad to help...I hope to fish all Winter....as long as there is no ice!!

as far as the the DARK SIDE I'm not sure for the simple fact I don't know what that actually means.I can tell You I have fished since the age of 5 and am now 45.I have nothing but the upmost respect for any fishery because I have seen the consequenses of poor management,overharvesting and just flat out dumb abuse of great places.I love the game,I have 2 young children now(6&2) which are getting in to it also and strive to do nothing but have them enjoy the sport and learning of it and respect our natural resources.Fishing is a God given gift and if you can't respect that fact and show respect for what you are given you should find a different way to spend your time.as far as cj,I still love the place,appreciate all of your guys work and will do nothing but try to help.I fish to catch fish,and yes at times I keep fish,but overall I know what is right and wrong and will do whatever I can to help or maintain what we have.Looking forward to meeting some of you guys and fishing this winter anyhow.I do enjoy ice fishing and hoping to get on the main lake again this year.Greatly appreciate all of your efforts towards the growth of the lake.and yes,i enjoy fishing for all species.
