I was out early this morning until about 10:00. Flat calm - water temp as high as 81 in the middle, 30 inches down. It was very slow, seemingly for everyone. I found a number of bluegills on the jig and one 17" Walleye which I returned to the drink.
I imagine the vast majority of the pollution is from goose poop. They really have become a problem in a lot of places. I'd be up for blasting a few but I don't have a clue how to go about it once the season opens.
