What are you hoping to get out of the trip? The Ohio isn't exactly the place to go if you're looking for a trophy fish. There's plenty of fish to be had, but the size is definitely lacking. The commercial fishing has put a hurting on the population of big fish over the past 10+ years. I know people that have used Dale before and were very happy, so I'm sure he can put you on some numbers. You may want to talk to Crappiecrazed also, he does quite a bit of catfishing on the river so he may be able to point you in the right direction also. If you're looking for big fish, you may want to consider some of the local lakes. CC, Rocky Fork, East Fork, etc. all have BIG flathead on them that few people target.

Impdog if you want to catch some decent cats go over to Gallipolis Ohio. Ohio and West Virginia don't allow commercial fishing. If you have a boat just catch some shad and anchor up near structure or in bends in the river. They have good numbers of Bluecats and Flatheads over in Gallipolis.
