Went out to EF today with a buddy from DC and caught a bunch of fish. We caught fish on both ends of the lake in 10-20 ft of water fishing anywhere from 4-8ft deep. Caught around 20 keepers and several shorts. Most fish were caught on jigs. All but 2 of the keeper size fish were whites. Crappie Crazed called me Wednesday and wanted to have a two boat fish off today but wouldn't put his money where his mouth was...Good thing he didn't because I think he would of got WHOOPED today!!haha!! I think he and his uncle did end up doing pretty good too today. Sounds like they caught a good number of keeper size fish with a bunch of short fish mixed in. He ended up with a dandy 13 1/2" white! It was nice fishing EF with very little wind!!! And only a few boats!

NOW NOW!!!!!!!! LOL, I just didn't want to take your money on a day you had to replace your cranking battery!!!!! LOL Yes fishing was fun today..... The highlight of our day was getting to see a bald eagle snatch a fish off the top of the water. THAT was cool as heck!!!!!! The other highlight was looking into the livewell and chuckling about How I did you a favor by not betting you!!!!!!!! LOL, Glad your buddy had fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was out with my son and dad this past summer. We always put in at the ramp by Boar's Nest (can't remember the ramp's name) and we saw 2 bald eagles in one of the coves to the left. That was a thrill. I'm 41 and had yet to see one in the wild let alone a pair of them. I'm looking forward to getting out to EF this week. The last couple of days looked like nice ones - cool but sunny and light wind. It will warm up middle of next week and I'm going to try and get out.

Went back out today and had nearly identical results from yesterday. Fish were in completely different areas, but we found them eventually. You know I was just kidding with you Robin, LOL! Thanks again for letting Kevin borrow a fishing pole today. That long rod made his life a lot easier today. It was good seeing you again on the water. Hopefully you get your alternator fixed.
