Ouch! You guys are the Pro's for sure.
The 11 to 12 I caught today might have weighed about two pounds total.
I went left on Hogans creek down to just past the tire hanging over the middle of the creek and worked my way back dropping a jig minnow combo under a bobber. Never seen water that black before either.

Hi all.
The fishing was much much better today. I fished with another guy near the ramp at Hanna Creek
and I kept 15. The crappie were deep in the wood. I used the "Vertical Casting" technique that I had
read about years ago by " CrappiePappy" here on Crappie.com. Hit the bottom and real up the line
really slow, and I mean really slow... Feel weight, or a tap set the hook!

The crappie tournament is on for sunday Nov. 24 2013. The bite is on with numerous guys saying they have been killing them. It's suppose to be a little chilly i know but we all have clothes to keep us warm. Take off will be at 8:30 a.m.. If you would make a comment if you plan on coming.

fished ohio river sunday 24th. it was a little cool 17f @ 6am
w/lite wind, water was a little stained & temp 46-53,
a real slow bite... must had been cood no one showed up...
1st Tim Snively/Justin Browning: (8 fish) 8.52 lbs. bf=1.50+ lbs
2nd Rick Daniels/Larry Yates: (8 fish)
