    Default June Crappie

Planning a weekend fishing trip in the middle of June at Rocky Fork Lake. Anyone have any success fishing for crappie this time of year? If so, what is your method of choice? Trolling small crankbaits? Vertical jigging deep waters (20+ft)? Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks!

Thanks. What depths do you normally find them in that time of year? When you mention long lining, are you talking about crankbaits? Again, thanks for the advice, I can always count on a response from you!

don't listen to those dweebs. do this...buy some bandits, series 100, 200 and 300 troll them around in 10'-20'of water at 1.5 mph. You will cover water and learn the lake fast and determine their depth. When you get hits, drop back on that location and try a vert-jig. After you limit out...tell everyone it that you just gotta know how to troll.
