Took my kids and wife fishing yesterday (3-26-12)(Spring Break). Fished with minnows on a #2 gold hook 8 foot deep with a float in 16 foot of water in the standing timber. I barely got to fish. Got the 1st boys pole in the water and start on the 2nd and he's pulling a crappie out before I can put a minnow on the 2nd pole. We had a great day despite the wind. All of us caught several crappie (a lot under size) and one hybrid stripper (2 Lb).

They had a blast!
