    Default East Fork

Went to East Fork on the 19th to crappie fish with my wife. We didn't do well so we decided to troll the main beach with Flitterbaits. We had a blast catching the hybrid strippers with them. Every pass we made we caught one. We put them all back so they can be caught again, I only keep the crappie.

Has anyone else ever used a flitterbait? I'm Pretty sure they are made locally and they really work well. I can give anyone the website I got them from if you are interested.

    Happy fishing

I also got stopped by the fish and game for a safety inspection of the boat. I failed but only got a warning. I didnt have my orange safety signaling flag. I have it now, but be aware they were stopping all boaters at the ramp putting in and taking out.

I think I'm the only guy who hasn't seen the watercraft guys at EF this year. I usually have my inspection in Feb or 1st week in March. I haven't seen them anywhere.

basicly a souped up lipless crankbait. They do work well. Ive used them in vertical situations, and also for the forbidden fish when they are on the feed.
