Your welcome Herb, I hope you can figure out if it works for you. I can't help you with the time on painting. I do the base coat on 25 or so then come back later or the next day and do the top coat. I may take a day in between and do some more.
With that kit, I painted what was left of the last 300 I got from you (1/8 weedless, sickle w/y guard and chinspins) and had plenty of color. I didn't use any of the black but I did use up some of my other base white so I don't know how far it will go.
I use powder on my jigs that aren't weedless.

Got my 1/16 ounce Chin Spins with weed guards this weekend... very very nice. Quality product Nightprowler. C'mon spring!
Does anyone trim down the weedguards to the hook point or just leave them the length they come?
I haven't used them yet but I would leave them where they are.
just leave them the length they come

Hey Herb
I put the check in the mail for my next 200 jigs.
Between the 1/32 oz chinspins with the smaller blade and the 1/32 oz weedless with the brush guards my friends and I are having a great spring so far.
My buddy Tom lifted some of my chinspin's the other day and went to Brookville with his buddy Morry. Morry is a truely dedicated minnow fisherman and just refuses to fish jigs. Tom was fishing your jigs either under a cork or swimming and was on fish before Morry even had time to get his minnow poles rigged. Tom offered Morry one of his rigs to try and at the end of the day Morry never did use any minnows. Bad for me is these guys like my jigs (the ones you make) better than the stuff you get at the store.
Oh yeah, that last 100 jigs with the brush guards were for my hunting partner. He tried a few earlier this year and now he's hooked.
James,
You were correct these 1/32 oz are perfect with the smaller blades.
I know alot of you guys get your jigs from Nightprowler but if you haven't tried the weedless chinspins you may want to try them out.
Again good job NP and thanks for a quality product
man max i need to fish with you so i can score some more jig heads lol.......i like that smaller blade quite a bit, glad you did also.....those jig heads have caught me quite a few this year all ready....im a pretty big fan of them

James they are a sorry bunch....one of them was complaining because I had some unpainted heads in the boat. He said " I don't like these, where's the painted heads?" so I gave him some painted heads and he said "how come these don't have any eyes?" He's lucky I let him stay in the boat.
