Nice perch JeepGuy! Hooked a really nice perch on Monday when we were trolling for walleye. Erie was a blast for the 4th.

Nice pic AEF, wonder who the guy in the middle is. He's one good looking walleye fisherman - you'll have to introduce us some day :D

JGJ, we went out of ashtabula yesterday and hammered the big walleyes. 3 were a little over 3lbs but the other 15 were real hogs with nothing under 24". Biggest was near 8 i'd say. 75ft with pink and greeen spinners. Long way out. Waves picked up around 11 and the bite picked up with them. used the dipsy program.

@ Chaunc, yea like AEF said I think there all in your neck of the woods right now, we caught some monster wallys earlier in the year but they seem to have moved on.....got my G-pa w/us so we can't run out to far, he can't handle the long bumpy rides.....we are gonna perch again tomorrow & saturday since they are close enough, them big wallys sure are fun though, I have a dipsy diver or two but I gotta learn how to use em....we pulled boards & harness on day 1 but just wasn't working well where we were, needed to be out further@ C-MAX, man these perch are fun....pretty easy once you find em@ T-bone, man I wanna get down there on them river pigs....glad you showed your dad yates where to catch em down there ha ha ha I did shoot docks in east harbor & caught prob 20 crappie, a few gills, and a bass....the crappie was all pretty decent size, but nothing huge....was shooting a 1/80th head under a real small ice fishing float....2 tone green.....deeper docks was better, was a fun day again today, crappie was one here two there....

we just ended up "perching"the rest of the week, was a good time, we did see a group of guys bring back a nice bag of wallys from around gull island / border area.....got them on small boards and harnesses, we never went to far from kellys, perch was stacked in there, was a good time
