Today was a blast! ended up with 4 keeper saugeye. 3 were 16"-17", 1 was a FAT 22" beast.

We also ended up with 38 keeper crappie all were 10"-13". Some were still holding eggs.

    Default eggs

Made it out this am and kept a few crappie. Almost every fish held eggs and they didn't look like they were ready any time soon. Water temps in the mid 70's. What's your thoughts...

Went yesterday as well kept 17 or so and 4 saugeye. Several still had eggs that were solid. I remember reading once that some crappie hold their eggs all year and never spawn. I don't know if this is true, but it seems late for them to spawn.
