Ultra light rod, 10lb braid, a few small twister tails, rattle traps, and tubes is usually what I take. Its pretty fun when you get in to the smallys.....have a great one all & God bless
I used to do this one a few times a year also. I a good float. Some years we catch a ton of cats.

Thanks, I'll have to see if they have any at my Wally World. Is E.F. worth the trip again? I have been hitting Cowan, and Acton mostly with a couple of trips to Armco Park here and there. I hear the dead sea, and now perhaps Cowan have bacteria issues. Am thinking of going back to E.F. this weekend perhaps. Made it there twice this year it was pretty high then but I guess it got a LOT worse.

The water at EF is actually pretty good right now. They were biting pretty decent last weekend. Did catch some of the biggest bluegill i have ever caught there.

I got one Saturday at 9''. Biggest I've seen from EF in a long time. Crappie weren't much bigger but found a few areas that held nicer fish.

Haha... I thought the same thing, it had me wrapped around a log and I reached for the net then this thing pops up. A nice surprise though, just wish I had about a dozen of them and my catfish poles.

If you could only catch crappie that big then the livewell would fill up alot quicker.
