43.6' above summer pool.
Is this a record? More rain this weekend!

Don't worry. They'll get it right by Memorial Day weekend for the pleasure boaters. This is what happens when ya wait till March to drop the lake to do repairs, then try to bring it back up quick....then we get 14 inches of rain in a month. On the bright side, a lot of fish spawned in that flood water without being disturbed. It has stayed pretty much the same for a while so maybe a lot were succesful. Of course the eggs layed after the last tourney by the fish that were back in the woods are now under 30 feet of water, lol.

What is current lake level? Can you get out on the lake at all?
It was 33.6' over summer pool yesterday. I would assume between 31-32' today. I would highly doubt that you could launch anywhere. Last time I was there they had the gates locked at both ramps I went to. It appears to be coming down about 2' a day, so it may be a few weeks until it's close to normal.
I heard rumor (may be no truth to it at all, I dont know) that even after if gets close to normal level they are gonna leave the gates closed to clean the mud and debris off of the ramps and out of the parking lot....but I dont know that to be a fact.....have a great week all, God bless!!

I say leave the lakes at the current level, just build some new parking lots. We need bigger lakes here anyway.
all the lakes impacted with flooding will require massive clean-up efforts. The water level is a little less than half the battle now.
Max, i agree, i could really get used to fishin in the honeysuckle bushes!
