Found this cleaning up some old files, two of the best guys around. Different as day and night. They don't make them like that any more!

This kills me. I had so much fun with this group around 2004-2009 time frame....learning to fish the James from slabenomics and Dayton, reading Shoer's silly posts about tapping the water with a paddle to attract crappie at Diascund and how many minnows the guy at Stewarts grocery would give him......Panman telling us about his tales from Beaverdam.....Corker and his minivan and train engineer cap fishing over at the Fort Pickett lakes.....I learned so much from you all.

Shoer was such a trip.......what a character. I finally met him in person after knowing him on the forum, one day out on the water on Diascund. What a nice guy he was on the water as on the forums.

Panman....I don't know how many of you know this story but one day he posted up that he had a huge aquarium he wanted to get rid of and the first taker could have it. I lived in Prince George County, he lived all the way out toward Gloucester.....I drove that long trip out there just to pick that thing up. This was about the time that he'd announced he had cancer. I remember his house being immaculately landscaped and he was in the process of cleaning up the interior of his garage (which was already extremely clean by garage standards) and wanting to make room by getting the aquarium out. He didn't want money.....so I cobbled together a bait tackle tray of random crappie stuff I had and gave it to him in exchange. In hindsight it was a meager offering on my part but I was a college kid and he humbly accepted it so as not to hurt my feelings. I kept that aquarium for along long time. Now it resides somewhere in Georgia, I had to leave it behind when we moved to Minnesota.

Anyways sorry for being long winded, just wanted to say that I really appreciated that picture and those were some really great great times.
