    Default There be bears in that thar swamp too.


    The other day a cub came out of the swamp from across the street and when it got pass my truck and seen my granddaughter on the swing I don't know who was more scared her or the cub. It did a 180 and ran back across the road. I was more concerned about mama being around but never did see her. I know there are a lot of them in the swamp but this is the first Iv'e seen in the yard in 35 years.

    I've seen them loading bears on boats down on the North River, during hunting season. On that particular day the hunters said they were running three bears at the same time.
