Thread: Fast??? food rant

Them Mom and Pop places were the best. If you saw more than four rigs out in front you knew it was the best. But they are all gone now due to the "fast food" Just what is fast? There was a place in front of the Chevy dealer I used to work at in Northern Ill. soup and a sandwich for two bucks. NOT FAST but just good. That's why I like fishing its slow.

If you wanna keep your blood pressure in check and get your order correct do NOT use the drive thru...............It's not that big of a deal to park walk inside place your order check your order at the counter.........then leave.

For some reason I do not understand almost all FF joints put their worst employee's in the drive thru! Then top that off with multiple drive thru lines and it's a recipe for a disaster............

Think leathal weapon 2 and the funny but true line Joe pesci extols about a drive through..............

it is what it is. Good food ain't cheap, cheap food ain't good, and none of it is really fast. Pay your money, take your chances.

Ill be be at wawa picking up a gobbler and a grapefruit juice for the days fishing. Get my ice and gas while in there thank you. Maybe royal farms for some fried bird if I feel froggy.

Id like to think you could make a good business with a small burger and BBQ joint somewhere off 58 or 460. Do breakfast, lunch, knock off at 1500.
