That's my plan. For a few reasons. The transducer cable is too big to run down the slot on my Terrova trolling motor, and I get tired of having to turn around to see the map contours and boat speed on my 997 in the rear. I may still use the Lowrance on my jon boat, not sure if I want to buy a second transducer for it or not.
