i favor my thirteens, because they are light, and still gives me plenty of slack ontop of the bobber and still let me fish relatively deep....anything over 9-10ft deep and i switch to tightlining, unless heavy wind then i tightline regardless. drifting the river i get less snags using canepoles and corks because the hook bounces over snags where as tightlining always gets hung, guessing the weight sets the hook in deep....but lately ive been casting jigs mostly, feels more rewarding to me lol. thanks for the reply, was hoping i wasnt the only one toting all this gear around the lake lol
