Sorry guys,,,I guess I’m with the little guys on this one,,,,,,sometimes a law being broke out of the law of necessity, outweighs the law of the land,,,so the question lies with the lawbreakers,,, did they do it because they needed food, or because of creed?
My grandfather taught me alot what it was like growing up in the depression,,,he was a inshore commercial fisherman and had to abide by the laws of the land on a daily basis,,,later in his life he was elected warden of the local herring run area back home on Cape Cod,,,, people would come for miles to get their daily bucket of herring for food,or for whatever they used their fish for,,some would take more then allowed and some less,,, he didn’t harass the people who took it for food because he knew it was done out of necessity and not just creed,,,he became well known and loved throughout our county and was known as Captain,,,not because he was a sea captain or merchant marine like his fathers father all were before him, but because they respected him ….
