Yep, and flour came in printed cotton bags. They saved the bags until they ha enough of them to make girl clothes. Neighbors would trade designs in order
to get enough material of one color to make a garment. Money wasn't as important back then as it is today and we ate good. Went to bed at dark and got
up a little before daylight. I still do that. When we got our first bathtub, my little brother and I were the cleanest two kids in the country. We stayed in that
thing. I won't say I miss it but I'm glad I got to see both sides. It was a good way to grow up. I do not miss the outhouse.
