    Holy cow Murdok! You are absolutely right, pictures really don't do justice to the devastation. My house was spared this time but some mobile homes were hit a couple miles south of me and 3 or 4 of them are gone. And by gone, I mean nowhere to be found.

    saw on the weather channel this morning that you can see the track of both storms from the international space stations. the one that hit my town (bassfield). was 2 miles wide in places and thats not media hoopla i have look at every day

    I read where one of the tornadoes was on the ground for a hour and fifteen minutes

    Saw one video on Weather channel said it was 2 miles wide. Showed a graphic that it was 5th or 6th widest tornado ever recorded. And only smaller by the thinnest margin.

    the big one started in tylertown and ended in soso. the other which was about 5 miles north of the f4 was no slouch either. i could put plenty of pics on here but when you compare them with what you actually see ya really cant appreciate the destruction its unreal and over such a big area.
