    Default where's you sign ?

Went to dicks's sporting goods to look at some heavy action worm rods . when approached by a floor clerk he was not sure about the heavy action . Was able to say that rods were not in groups by any thing but name . After several minutes he showed up with two rods that were medium-heavy as they said plain as day on the rod . When I showed him that he replied but "they seem ,a little heavier than the rest ,as he balanced them in each hand to compare them . This very thing happened a while back and could not believe it was possible again . I was told that they try not to hire those that hunt, fish or play golf as they tend to not show up for work . Trust me they got the right folks .

Yeah been in a few of those, Dicks seem to be more golfer oriented here around Memphis. Another reason "they" outdoor sportsman stores tend not to hire actual hunters, fishermen and golfers... is because they know the products and tend to give honest opinions, it called over scrutinizing by corporate and often not best for their bottom line, buy cheap crap, sell real high

Most of these kids working these stores don't know anything about fishing/hunting products. Ask a couple of basic questions, and you'll know pretty quick! Then, go find it yourself. The only exception to the rule is a guy named John that works in the fishing department at Sportsman's Warehouse in Southaven. Very knowledgeable in fishing gear and electronics. When he's not working, he is a Bass Fishing Guide, but he also knows crappie fishing.
