No cpap

Do you use a cpap? Be sure to use the heat if you do.
Not sure what honey does, but it helps the body, look it up.
Before I swapped to honey I was spending a bunch every year on doctor visits and over the counter drugs. I look up recipes and make what I need.
There's a trick with a red onion to aid healing too.
Surely using a Neti pot would help. I don't deal with it hardly at all anymore because I use a CPAP with humidifier, but I use to have horrible problems with prior to being diagnosed with sleep apnea.
This entry is still from today 01/12/2018 so no one gets screwed up. Maybe I should post that so not to screw up some's thinking since I'm late night.
Get online and find recipes that meet the cure for you ails. You'll find most are made with honey, local honey is better than store bought so check labels. I use 6 gallons per year @ $45. I haven't been to a doctor since 2010, no over the counter drugs since 2011. Debbie drinks Cokes, sugar. She buys lots of over the counter drugs.

I have a Neti pot, haven't used it since 2011.
Local, raw honey is a very good thing, for a whole lot of things. Having said that, the body doesn't utilize or process honey much differently than it does white cane sugar. Honey does have trace elements of over 180 different things that sugar doesn't have. I eat a lot of very, very local honey. It comes from the 25 hives in my backyard and scattered around the farm. This will be my 6th year as a beekeeper.
canebreaker, since you like honey so much and apparently for it's therapeutic properties, you should really check out the uses for propolis. You should be able to get it from the same beekeeper that you get honey from.
Thanks, I'll read some about it, ask my keeper about it and look for recipes.
