Putting in at engineer point. How far up the lake should we go before we try it? Haven't been fishing but once in 12 weeks so I've lost touch with them. Thanks for any help!

Biggest crappie to date is 3 lb 9 oz at grenada in 1988. Still hangs on my wall.
