That's what I was thinking about doing to, got to find some eyes that are braced on either side or they will just break again unless I change my ways.

That's how you learn. I keep any broken rod just for the guides and that's a good way to practice wrapping. Try to remind me and I'll bring you some wrapping thread.

Got a couple more to do but they are in the rod box, ain't digging em out, got an early date with a boat ramp in the morning.

Bought some of these from China. They are cheap so if I just use one it was worth buying the whole sets. Just takes a little longer to come from China so I bought 4 sets which was probably cheaper than the stores $1.13 and free shipping. No doubt they are the same thing that is sold in most stores also.
