Default Stripers in the Rez/ Where now?

I am about ready to get after the Stripers, but have no idea where to start on the Rez... Way up toward the LowHead, in the river channel, or out in the open water near the dam? Any help would sure be appreciated...

We used to catch them in the channel in main lake, this time of year. We would troll big jigs.

They run some time soon. Not sure when but it should be coming up. I've sat just outside the tail race at Lowhead and tossed on top, then let the jig spill over. BAMM,

OK, now the other question... How big are these fish? 5 to 10 pounds, or bigger?
