Been talking that forever ain't making any Freon for older units. I have a small leak. I have it charged up every 2 years. Cost about 100 bucks. They say it's time to replace with new unit. I ain't changing nothing until the compressor is shot. They quoted me 5000. I have a 3500 sq ft home. 2 units. The upstairs is the one leaking. That quote sounds way to high.
