Thread: Sad news!

Prayers going up for these men and their families!!When just the turbines are running there is a bunch of current on the up side of the dam. Open all the flood gates and the current pull is multiplied greatly.A boat capsizing any where near that dam and you are at the mercy of the amount of water being pulled through.The day this occurred I believe they're was pretty high winds.Years back there was a piece of a hull of a boat at the ramp below the dam as a reminder of what can happen if you get too close to open flood gates.
